Starting out...

I didn't think I was going to become a blogger but I need a way to keep track of everything that is happening in the house of Taylor and the things made around here, like art projects, giggles, curls, messes, memories and so much more. I'll try to keep you entertained in the meantime.

I have 23 days left as a teacher and am so excited about staying home with the little bug and working for DOLLS but I am starting to feel a bit nostalgic about the last 8 years of my life that I have spent in that building and the hundreds of kids that have walked in and out of my doors. It is such a weird feeling to know that this is the last group that will walk out of my door in just a few weeks. I've made a lot of memories and hopefully a difference in some of their lives. Let us not forget that I also made it possible for about 20 something 12 years to watch an "inappropriate" video for the first time. At least those kids will remember me!

  1. Your legacy with those 20 kids will not be quickly forgotten. Just think, that group will be entering college this Fall. That is when we anticipated those kids wod finally start speaking out about that tramadic day. You'll be getting Facebook posts from every college in the state verifying if the story their room mate told them was true.

  2. Oh no, you are right! Maybe I should change my name so they cannot find me!

  3. andrea, that's really great that you have stayed faithful at Ford all these years, and so glad to hear of the increadible growth at DOLLS! all the best, lois
